Additionally, it offers asset tracker solution for the inventory management of utility smart electric power grid assets, including meters, collectors, and concentrators, as well as substation and field deployable assets. The company was formerly known as OptiCon Systems, Inc. and changed its name to Infrax Systems, Inc. in January 2010. Infrax Systems, Inc. was founded in 2004 and is based in St. Petersburg, Florida.
